Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol is an American artist who sis best known for his pop art. He was able to find a connection between illustration, celebrity culture and advertisements. In the 1960’s is when Warhol’s pop art flourished as he is known for his iconic paintings of popular American objects. His illustrations ranged from celebrities to a Campell’s soup can. Through his illustrations he was able to capture iconic images of the culture and media of the time period. Some of his most well known works include Campbell's Soup I (1968) and Marilyn Monroe.
