For the final installation that was displayed in Babbio, Tino and I created a 3D display of the original 8 byte Mario. We were able to do this by using 150 three-inch cardboard boxes. The idea of the installation was to bring the original video game character in his original form to the 3D modern world. With this installation we were able to connect the original 8byte Mario to the present and see how video games have transformed from what they used to be.
In order to do this we started with cardboard boxes that were to be folded and painted.
